Dr. Ray Plant

Dr. Ray Plant was born and raised in Oklahoma City. After graduating from Putnam City West, he obtained his Bachelors degree in physiology at Oklahoma State University, and his Doctor of in Dental Surgery from the OU College of Dentistry (He is a Cowboy at heart!).

Dr. Plant has enjoyed a successful practice for nearly 30 years and is a member of the ADA, ODA, Pierre Fuchard Academy and is a fellow with the American College of Dentists. He serves on councils at the local level and on the state level as well.

Dr. Plant and is wife, Kim are kept busy by their kindergartner, Ryder, a budding athlete. Dr. Plant enjoys church activities, music (he used to sing lead in a band), history, crafts, and watching sports with his family.

Pam Bailey | Registered Dental Hygienist

Pam is a registered dental hygienist and has been working for Dr. Plant for 27 years. Originally from Texas, she received her Bachelor of Science degree from Midwestern State University. She is keen on continuing education classes and training to share with her patients for optimal dental health. She spends her day meticulously removing unsightly stain and harmful bacterial plaque and tarter. She is passionate about providing quality dental care to her patients.

Pam has been married to her husband, Chris for almost 15 years. Since marrying Chris, she now knows the meaning of “sports widow”. Chris enjoys all pro and college football and basketball. During the off season, Pam and Chris go on long walks in their neighborhood with their dog Max. Pam has a son who is a radiologist and a daughter who is a family practice physician. Pam is also a proud grandma to her grandson, Rhys.

Martha Morland | Registered Dental Hygienist

Martha graduated from OU in the very first dental hygiene class in 1973. She thinks it’s an awesome profession. She has enjoyed working for the last 45 years and is planning to continue for a few more. Martha’s favorite part is meeting all of the different patients and taking care of their individual needs.

Martha has two grown children and three wonderful grandsons. She loves to travel, cook and entertain friends in her home.

Christie Crook | Dental Assistant

Christie has been with Dr. Plant for almost three years. She brings 32 years of chairside assisting experience to our office. Christie is certified in radiation protection and safety, coronal polishing, nitrous oxide and sealants. Christie has never met a stranger. She always has a smile on her face and has a wonderful sense of humor. These personality traits make patients feel at ease and comfortable while in the dental chair.

Christie has a set of twin adult children and 3 grandchildren who are her whole world. Outside of work, Christie can be found spending time with family and friends. She also manages to find time to bargain shop at garage sales, travel, and watch her favorite TV channel, HGTV.

Sharla Leonard | Business Coordinator

Sharla has worked for Dr. Plant for 10 years. She greets every patient with excellent customer service and hospitality. Sharla is always eager to assist patients with insurance, account information and questions as well as scheduling future appointments. She enjoys hearing about all the changes with the families of our patients.

Sharla has been married to her best friend, Kenny for almost 4 years. Sharla and Kenny’s blended family consists of their 4 sons and wives, a daughter and her husband and their 10 grandchildren. For Sharla, family is the most important thing. She does manage to find time to antique shop. You can also find her fly fishing, traveling to Colorado, spending the weekend at the lake with her family and attending OU football games.

Beverly Phelps | Practice Administrator

Beverly has been in the dental field for 15 years. She brings 14 years of practice management experience to our team. As the practice administrator, she ensures that all elements are in place so that our clinical team can focus on providing patients with personalized care and hospitality.

Beverly has two children and two grandchildren. She enjoys watching her granddaughter pour her heart and soul into playing soccer. She also holds committee positions within her son’s Cub Scout pack. Beverly’s husband, Jason, is also the Cubmaster for the pack. Her family is known for camping regardless of the weather conditions. Beverly is an avid sports fan. She enjoys watching NCAA football (Boomer Sooner), NFL football and the Oklahoma Thunder.
